The inmates are excited to tell you that we will be bringing our madness to Winter Rocks Festival this December. We’ll be joining our good friends South Of Salem on the Friday night, in which promises to be a great way to kick start an insane weekend. #wardxvi #winterrocks  

This Halloween will see Ward XVI’s first Headline hometown show in Preston in well over 4 years, which incidentally will most probably be the final time that we play the Metamorphosis show in its theatrical entirety. We’ve been to Bloodstock Festival, Hammerfest and Hard Rock Hell while rocking at Primordial Radio‘s PGM, supported Cradle of Filth at the Roundhouse, a UK tour with Doyle, and fulfilled a headline UK tour in that time away, but this one will be extra special to us. We’ll be joined at Blitz Preston on the 29th October by the incredible All Consumed and Lythium. The inmates of Ward XVI are insanely excited to announce that we will be on day release from Whittingham and will be joining the mayhem which is NWOCR LiveFest – Volume One– on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd October 2022 at K.K. Downing’s Steel Mill Wolverhampton. We’ll join a line-up of 17 Bands over the 2 days, including Bad Touch, SKAM, Scarlet Rebels These Wicked Rivers, Dead Man’s Whiskey, Ryders Creed Doomsday Outlaw, EMPYRE Twister Revival Black, Ashen Reach, Takeaway Thieves, and Shape Of Water. We’ll be bringing the full Metamorphosis show that’s been taken to Bloodstock, Hammerfest and the London Roundhouse, and throwing in some big surprises too. Joined by All Consumed and Lythium (who feature an ex inmate), we’re out to showcase some of the best music Preston has to offer. We’re insanely excited to announce that we have been made the headliner of Rockin the Bowl – Forged in Fire, Set in Steel’s second stage on Friday night. This is going to be a crazy festival with Mason Hill, Orange Goblin, Terrorvision (official), Diamond Head, Official Blaze Bayley, Absolva and an absolute load of other incredible bands completing the line up.
