ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE WARD
We have the sad task today to announce that after 5 years of madness, Rico Romero has finally escaped the confines of WARD XVI..
We’d like to thank him for his considerable contribution to where we find ourselves as a band today, his friendship to us and the wider inmates, and to the energy that he has brought to the stage since he first appeared as one of the inmates at Bloodstock 2021.
We wish him the best of luck with all of his future endeavours.

Inmate’s announcement: Message from Rico Romero
After five years, I have made the decision to step away from Ward XVI. I leave you all in the capable hands of all the other lunatics of the band, who will carry things through to the new era.
Before the rumour mill starts to churn, no. We haven’t fallen out. I didn’t burn down our practice rooms. I was never there. It was somebody who just looked like me. I still have the greatest love and utmost respect for the guys, I’m just ready to take a step back and follow other avenues and passions, and most importantly being a parent and partner with my incredible family.
I want to thank you all for the life-changing time I’ve had with you all, I’ve made so many friends and genuinely you’re some of the most incredible nutcases I’ve ever come across, and I’m sure I’ll see you all soon.
Next time I see you I’ll be on the other side of the barricade to usual with you lot, and I will be there. You ain’t getting rid of me that easily.
